Mount Edgecombe Plantation provides a yesteryear Great House experience in a stunning setting as a perfect West Indies authentic Plantation home which has the been completely and beautifully restored.

Built by Lord Edgecombe of Devon, England in the late 1700’s, in a picturesque sheltered yet elevated location on the western coast of Grenada, this historic and colorful estate enjoys cool sea breezes, overlooks verdant botanical gardens and orchards, to the sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea. The plantation maintains specimen trees, many traditional varieties of crops and fruits a well as exotic flowers and spices that are either indigenous to the island or that were introduced by the planters in the 1700’s and 1800’s. As such, it is a working plantation ensuring that these varieties are protected for future generations to enjoy.
